Tackle Twill 101
In the old days tackle twill lettering was done manually using an industrial sewing machine. Today, embroidery machines are used to ensure the most precise and clean sewing possible. With advancements in digitizing and other technology we are able to create both lettering and designs using the tackle twill process. In many cases, not only do tackle twill applique designs save stitch count, but it also gives a better product. Ideally you do not want a large stitch count for your design which often results in puckering depending on the garment. Tackle twill helps with this problem.
